I came across a maths quiz online the other day testing what people could still remember from school. I enjoyed doing the quiz, yet it was the online comments that I found most interesting.
There is a varied mix of opinions regarding maths from those who did well in the test and those who didn’t.
A few people stating they didn’t see the point in maths at all followed by curt replies asking how they get on in life if maths had no part in it.
The debate is fascinating and goes to show that school-day maths still brings up strong feelings.
